Turbulent flow & modelling

These are courses on turbulent flow and turbulence modelling for undergraduates in civil engineering at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (lectures were held in German, material is in English).

Current courses:

• Fluidmechanik turbulenter Strömungen
  (Fluid mechanics of turbulent flows)
  One-semester course on the physics of turbulent flows. Modelling approaches will not be central in this course.
  
  
• Turbulenzmodelle in der Strömungsmechanik - RANS und LES
  (Modelling of turbulent flows - RANS and LES)
  This course builds upon the material covered in the previous lecture ("Fluid mechanics of turbulent flow"), introducing the most widely used turbulence models.

• Turbulenzmodelle in der Strömungsmechanik (WS 2008/9)
  (Turbulent flows and their modelling)
  One-semester course on the physics of turbulent flows, also covering turbulence modelling with the Reynolds-average approach (RANS).
