Numerical fluid mechanics
This is a two-part introductory course on numerical methods in fluid
mechanics for undergraduates in civil engineering at Karlsruhe
University (lectures were held in German, material is in English).
- Numerische Strömungssimulation I
(Numerical fluid mechanics I)
First steps in the direction of numerically solving fluid flow
equations, introducing concepts of consistency, stability,
efficiency in the context of finite-difference and finite-volume
approaches.
- Numerische Strömungssimulation II
(Numerical fluid mechanics II)
Extending the basic knowledge in CFD towards the numerical solution
of the Navier-Stokes equations, particulate flow, species
transport.
